The Viva la Verve sketch for this week is a keeper, lots of layers and chances to embellish. I made a Mother's Day card for my Mom, it will accompany a GC to Barnes & Noble so she can load up her Nook Color.
The dp is from Webster's Pages, the Sunday Picnic & Everyday Poetry pack. It's so soft and pretty, with a touch of subtle texture. It's one of my first times trying it and I love it. You can find a great deal on them at Stop and Scrap.
I used watermark ink for the sentiment as well as the flourish on the leaf cluster. Both stamps are from Verve- Because of You and Blessings. The rolled roses were made with the opposite side of the papers I selected for the card. Love it when I can do that!
