Riding In Coach

Today is day two of the February Sneak Peeks from My Time Made Easy. This month's theme is Enchantment.

I used the Riding in Coach template to make a lip gloss gift set for a princess in our family that recently celebrated a birthday.

I started with some purple cardstock and accented with aqua blue. The coach door was coated with stickles so it's super sparkly and beautiful.

Each of the wheels were embellished with some large pearls for an even more elegant feel. The lip gloss was tied up into a cello bag tied with a thin grosgrain ribbon. I added the purple heart brad with some glue dots.

Va Va Voom

I think this'll be the Valentine I give my guy. It's been a while that I've used my Bombshell stamps and it was fun to reach for them again. This one is called Butterfly Queen.

I went with a simple layout since the image is pretty large. A bow and button finishes this off. I'll save the sentiment for the inside.

Be My Valentine

I couldn't wait to ink up these cute li'l guys from Sweet N Sassy Stamps Mini Critters; I had lots of fun coloring them. Once colored, I just punched them out.

I grabbed a sheet of Echo Park paper that matched my colored images. The sentiment from Sweet N Sassy Stamps Bottom of my Heart was added to a sentiment flag and adhered under the bunny.

I Heart You

This is a sweet and simple Valentine's Day card. I'm not done by a long shot, so there'll be more this week in between MTME posts! Can you believe it's time for another release from My Time Made Easy? Lots of cute stuff to come.

The banner is an Echo Park print & cut design that I just stamped on using CTMH's Whoo's Your Valentine stamps. The sentiment was stamped in white and then embossed.

I Sort of Like You

You got it, another Valentine's Day card. I was on a roll, what can I say? This one has lots of pattern.

This one uses the Deconstructed Sketch 85; several fun layers! More Echo Park papers and another cute stamp from Avery Elle's Lots of Love set as well.

Heart Box

I just love this heart box from the For My Valentine kit; super cute and pretty roomy. I don't have any candies to go in it yet, but I will load it up soon enough. If I put them in there now, they'll be gone before Valentine's Day! *wink*

The papers are Echo Park's Love Story; I managed to snag the 6x6 and 12x12 papers some time back. I love the larger sized papers for 3D projects.

Be Mine

In keeping with the theme of the last few days, here is another Valentine's Day card I will send out. The papers are from We R Memory Keepers; I adore these pinks.

The sentiment and little hearts are from Avery Elle's Lots of Love stamp set. I grabbed my pack of cork paper for a bit of a change.

A variety of pink buttons were threaded with some hemp cord and glue dotted to the top of the card.

Valentine's Day Pops

I picked up 3 packs of heart shaped lollies the other day with the intention of making some covers for them using the Tuck & Close Envelope; Taylor's were stinkin' adorable.

I used some pretty pink cardstock and covered it with some Valentine's Day papers from Echo Park and We R Memory Keepers. Each lolly is held in place with a small glue dot and the closure is also secured with one.

I cut the circle shapes and stamped each with a variety of stamps from CTMH; I love them. Now, to get crackin' on some more....I have about 33 more pops to cover before the day of love. Think I'm gonna put them in a floral foam arrangement for my desk.

News Flash

I need a masculine birthday card for the head honcho at work, so I looked around for some fun colors and a good sketch. I wanted to use Boob Tubes from Paper Smooches (thanks Amy), and the sketch at Create with Connie and Mary, CCMC235, was perfect.

The colors at CR84FN blog, CR84FN70, were great too; too good to pass up. So, I made a mostly masculine card, I don't think the ribbon is a huge feminine addition. The TV screen and buttons were coated with glossy accents for some realism and pizzazz.

Love and Hugs

I need to make a card for my aunt who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. And, although we're not close, I want her to feel love as she fights this disease and enters chemo.

I was so inspired by Laurel's newest challenge, #58, that I knew I had to make time to create. Cindy also has a fun new challenge, #2, to create something for a girl in your life. Lastly, I used the Mojo Monday sketch, #276 for the layout since it went so perfectly with the inspiration photo.

I was inspired by the polka dots and the background wall color, although I did tone it down a bit. I also used a pop of yellow and the main sentiment was stamped on some sparkle paper somewhat mimicking the bling in the photo.

For You

I needed to send a get well card this week, my mom contracted shingles last week and is still struggling to feel better. I wanted to send her something with flowers on it.

I sampled the Mojo Monday, MOJO275 sketch was perfect since it has lots of layers and fun shapes. I grabbed an older Simple Stories paper pad for some fresh, spring colors.

Hoping it cheers her up.

Trio of Hearts

So, I got some new stamps and ink a few days ago and couldn't wait to use them. Once I saw the sketch at the clean & simple blog, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

Each heart was stamped and then embossed; I can honestly say that I love the Daisy White ink from CTMH, it stamps wonderfully. I fussy cut the two smaller hearts and adhered them to either side of the main image.

Short and sweet post today, lots to do.

Happy Valentine's Day...a little early

I am trying to get loads of Valentine's Day cards ready; so I grabbed my Echo Park Love Story paper and sampled the sketch from The Sweet Stop, SSS193. Look at all those glorious layers.

The images are from Avery Elle's Lots of Love set, I adore it. I added some gingham ribbon with a loopy bow to finish it off.

Just a Note

Before errands today, I wanted to play along with the Inspiration Challenge at SCS, IC371. After perusing the items available at Layla Grace, I decided on this sweet tablet cover as my inspiration piece.

I grabbed my Paper Smooches stamps and got busy. First, the chevrons from Geo-Graphic were stamped and white embossed; I recently picked up some white ink from CTMH and I must say that it's beautiful and stamps perfectly! The sentiment from Sentiment Sampler was also embossed, but this time with clear embossing powder. Lastly, the tablet from Teen Routine (thanks Lynn) was colored and adhered to the front. A little ribbon finishes it off.

Lots of Love: A Year in Review

Today the entire Design Team is offering inspiration using older templates and products from My Time Made Easy.

I wanted to be sure to use You've Got Mail, I love the shape of this box and am grateful it goes together super quick and easy.

I sized it small, it's about 70% of its original size; I love that I can do that with these templates. The side panels were stamped with Fanciful Flourishes and then embossed. Each of the hearts were added and I slathered them with Glossy Accents to add some texture and character!

I popped in a K-cup; the band around it is from the To Go! template. I didn't decorate the top since I realized not everyone will remember to remove all the adhesive before loading this into their brewer. This alleviates that worry.

Some Sugar for my Sugar

Today we're reviewing the new products just released by My Time Made Easy! This month's templates are amazing and I get to show you how I used Clam-ped Shut. It's a sweet take on a burger box and I think it's adorable. I sized it to 75% of its original size so that I could tuck in some small treats.

I embossed the swirls from Fanciful Flourishes and then decorated them with some clear gems. The Rolled Scallop Bloom cut file was used with a sheet of the new BFFs Valentine paper; I chose the damask sheet and printed on both sides.

You can see I also embossed a flourish inside the box lid, it just adds some interest there. I used the print & cut feature in Silhouette Studio to place the sentiment from Sweet Sentiments perfectly on the circular element found in the Well Rounded Tag cut file. Each sentiment circle was backed with more of the damask patterned paper and then layered onto the scalloped circle also found in the Well Rounded Tag cut file.

You're Purr-fect

I fell in love with this month's release from Sweet & Sassy Stamps, and I'm trying my darnedest to win some new stamps! So, I played along with the first Virtual Stamp Day challenge which was to use a critter on your card or project.

I grabbed my Paper Smooches Chubby Chums set and set out to make a Valentine's Day card for a cat lover. I also used some paper from We R Memory Keepers for the strips and tied everything off with some pink twine.

February Release: With All My Heart

Today is release day, you can purchase this month's NEW My Time Made Easy products NOW!

We have some cute images that are perfect for Valentine's Day. I wanted to use this cute zebra from BFFs Valentine Images on a tag from BFFs Valentine Tags cut file. The sentiment from BFFs Valentine Sentiments, which is a match for the image, was placed below the image. I used the print & cut feature once again to make the tag.

The hearts from BFFs Valentine Tags cut file were sized to fit the tag and then placed with a dab of glue. I tied the tag off with some twine and a cute raspberry button.

I don't know if you noticed or not, but I cut the box from grey and white cardstock to emulate the zebra look even more! Cute!

With Love Preview

The January Release for My Time Made Easy is here! Lauren was gracious enough to postpone the January Release until after the holidays so we could spend time with our families. Everything you've seen today and yesterday will be available for purchase tomorrow, January 7th. I've got the With All My Heart template which is a take on all those heart shaped candy boxes that start popping up for Valentine's Day.

When I started to decorate my box top, I googled to find some inspiration. Most boxes have a bow in one of the top corners of the heart; so I went in that direction. I wanted a fluffy, loopy bow and this sheer ribbon was perfect for it.

I filled this box with some chocolate peanut butter hearts for one of my Valentine's this year! *wink* You can see that this box is a great size even when you scale it to 75% of its original size.

I made a card to go with the With All My Heart box; I used the heart cluster found in BFF's Valentine Tag Cut File. I simply used the print & cut feature to place the hearts and the sentiment from Round Off on the card front. The heart cut outs were colored with copics and then adhered with some boosters for some added dimension. For a final touch, I placed some gems on the hearts.

Be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team to see more projects using these fun new products.

Kind of Cute

I made some time to participate in the Mojo Monday 273 sketch from last week; it's a goodie and it's also been forever since I've played along.

I have been wanting to try the chalkboard art technique since Betsy posted the tutorial, so glad I did! It's so fun, I'll be trying again soon enough.

I used a variety of stamps from Avery Elle's Lots of Love set; can you tell I love these stamps?! The heart flourishes are from Verve's Sweet Treats. I just added a few gems to the flourishes and tied a big bow to finish everything off.

I Adore You

Yep, I am creating cards for Valentine's Day; it's my favorite holiday besides Christmas. I was thrilled to score the new Echo Park Love Story paper, it's super cute.

I used Freshly Made Sketch 66 for my card today; it's a great layout! I pulled out Avery Elle Lots of Love stamps again, I might actually use all of them in the set. Yay! I added some turquoise gems on each scallop and tied some pretty pink ribbon around the card front.
